Senior Infrastructure Engineers are responsible for building, maintaining, and continually improving the organisation’s ICT infrastructure. The role combines hands‑on technical delivery with ownership of BAU processes to ensure high system availability, strong security, and reliable performance across all platforms and applications. You will also contribute specialist expertise, lead elements of technical design, and support the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.
Infrastructure Design, Architecture & Delivery
- Collaborate with the wider infrastructure team to design, enhance, and implement scalable, reliable, and high‑performing IT infrastructure solutions.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure designs align with organisational standards and future growth.
Specialist Technical Expertise
- Provide deep technical knowledge in one or more specialist areas—such as cloud services, network security, automation, or virtualisation—to strengthen team capability.
- Act as a technical escalation point for complex issues and support the resolution of critical incidents.
Backup, Recovery & Resilience
- Support the development, implementation, and management of advanced backup and disaster recovery strategies.
- Ensure robust data protection, system resilience, and continuity of operations.
Security, Compliance & Governance
- Assist in developing, enforcing, and maintaining security policies, standards, and procedures.
- Ensure infrastructure platforms remain compliant with internal and external security requirements.
MDM & Technology Deployment
- Support the management and optimisation of Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
- Assist with the deployment and lifecycle management of technology solutions across global sites.
Knowledge Sharing & Continuous Improvement
- Actively participate in team knowledge‑sharing sessions and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, tools, and infrastructure performance.
