The Technical Systems Analyst is responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions across the organisation’s Azure‑based cloud environment and enterprise information systems. The role requires strong technical expertise in Microsoft Azure, modern system architecture, and enterprise platforms, ensuring all solutions align with organisational objectives and industry best practice.

Working closely with cross‑functional teams, the Technical Systems Analyst translates business requirements into robust technical solutions, maintains system reliability, and drives continuous improvement. This position also acts as a key liaison with Group ICT, ensuring alignment of technology strategies, standards, and implementations across the wider organisation.

Job Responsibilities

Azure Cloud Solutions Design & Management

  • Architect, deploy, and manage cloud solutions within Microsoft Azure to meet organisational needs.
  • Optimise Azure resources for cost efficiency, performance, and scalability.
  • Implement and manage security controls, including identity and access management (IAM).
  • Ensure high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery for critical systems.
  • Lead and support server migrations to Azure, including systems acquired through business acquisitions.

Enterprise Information Systems Management

  • Oversee the design, integration, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise systems such as ERP and CRM platforms.
  • Collaborate with business units to analyse requirements and deliver tailored, high‑quality solutions.
  • Lead system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations while minimising downtime.
  • Manage system performance monitoring, capacity planning, and issue resolution.

Technical Leadership

  • Act as a technical advisor to teams and stakeholders, providing expertise on Azure and enterprise systems.
  • Define and promote technical standards, best practices, and governance for system development and operations.
  • Lead and mentor IT professionals to ensure successful delivery of technical solutions.
  • Work closely with vendors and external partners to ensure solutions align with business and technical requirements.

Project Management & Collaboration

  • Manage end‑to‑end technical projects, from planning and design through to implementation and support.
  • Develop project roadmaps, timelines, and budgets, ensuring delivery within scope and schedule.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align technical solutions with organisational goals.
  • Act as a bridge between technical and non‑technical stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication.
